My 93 z28 has the M29 T56.. So my stock rear gears are 3.23's. I'm really wanting 4.10's but people have told me that would be too steep of a gear to go with my trans.. Would 3.73's or 4.10's be better? I'm really wanting more bottom end.

As of right now it has a moroso cold air intake, flowmaster and no cat, tb bypass, and a shifter.. Also I've taken quite a bit of weight out of it. I'm wanting to put headers on it in the near future and put a different muffler on it, and then I wanna get some QA1 adjustable shocks.

With that trans go 3.73. 1st gear in that combo will have about the same final drive ratio as a T56 and 4.10's, which at the power level these cars can make with just a heads/cam will overwhelm just about any tire short of a drag radial.
When I get around to replacing my rear, I'm going down to 3.73's as I don't want to run a soft wall'd drag radial on street. I can't even hook 1st and sometimes 2nd with 295 KDW 2's with my current setup.
