9sec car,trutrac or wavetrac? 31 or 35 spline? I have a 2001 Trans am that is a built turbo car putring down 835whp. I have had my Moser 9 inch for 5 years the last 2 with a trutrac and 31 spline axles.
Last year went to the track and ran 8 easy no tbrake 10.0 runs. Every since Every low speed right turn makes a popping noise kind of like a locker does. Other then that it makes no other noises.
From what I've read i need a new diff.
my axles look fine, so I could just replace thetrurac for about $500.
My question is, am I over powering the trutrac? Is it wavetrac time for $1000. If so should I spend the extra $450 and get 35 spline axles? Is the wavetrac a direct bolt in place ofv the trutrac?

I can't answer your questions but if you look down a few threads you'll see guys with way less power and way less miles on their Tru tracs with the same problems. With all these problems the tru trac is becoming known for be on the safe side just upgrade or get a spool.
