Like the title say's I need help identifying a 12-bolt made for the F-body I picked one up off craigslist for an amazing deal but I don't know who its made by the only real casting on it is a number on the passenger side axle tube housing and a ME003 in the carrier housing any help would be great

I know its for a f body its got the torque arm mount spring mounts and all I watched the guy unbolt it out of a 1998 T/A I was just wondering who the manufacturer was ex. Strange or Moser after looking at pics on yahoo I'm pretty sure it's a Moser by the way the torque arm mount is cast but still would like to know if anyone knows by the ME003 cast in the housing

Strong suggestion before putting that 12-bolt directly in is rebuild it first to save yourself some possible hassles. Change the axle bearings from ball bearing to tapered and put in a new ring and pinion. 12-bolts are prone to ring and pinion noise over time and not knowing the age or miles on the housing it may be due plus a tapered bearing is better choice for a street driven vehicle. If it already hasn't been changed or ordered with tapered bearings.
Once you do that you'll be like new and ready to rock with a good rear end.
