Looks like quickperf has some good prices, I just specced a fab 9 out. Interesting. Not sure what kind of repuation for quality they have though.
OP - I too have looked at the hawks 8.8 with a lot of interest. It's lightweight, holds a lot of power and eats up less than any of the "big boy" options. But the price...... If they were selling these things 100% done, soup to nuts for 2 grand it might make sense. I don't recall ho much the one I specced out was but it was right up there with all of the other options. I'm not saying it isn't a viable option, but I'm far from an expert. There is another member on here with whom I Im'd back and forth for a bit talking about them. He has two of them, installed by Hawks and couldn't be happier. His cars are mild though, no 800-900rwhp drag cars.
Midwest Chassis is an active sponsor on here and has a good reputation. They also build a lot of other products for F-bodies so they know their ****. There is that to think about too.

I see, it just loads a blank page for me.
I saw a S60 on Summit Racing and was wondering if this is the same rear end or if there were any differences I need to be aware of (especially in the fitment department).
For the 15 lbs heavier Im almost sure that won't really do anything on a track will it? Would the MWC 9" be just as bullet proof as a Dana S60?

As for weight the S60 is the heaviest rear end on the market by a lot. Its bulky stature is why it survives better than any other cast style housing. It also has the added feature of being able to mount the torque arm directly to a factory casted in mounting location. No big bulky brackets welded onto a soft cast housing such as the 8.8 or a bracket onto a bracket system like most stamped nine inches. You also have to be careful some claim their nine inch to be a fad nine inch but it is nothing more than a cast nine inch with stuff added to it. A true fabricated nine inch starts out life in multiple pieces.

The Quick Performance 9" is the cheapest rear end I have found for the Gen. 4 F-body. They say that their fabricated housing is about 10lbs less than the stamped housing, and a little stronger.
I haven't ordered one yet, but I priced one out for my car. For $2,700 (shipped), you can get:
-QP 9" fabricated housing
-28-35 spline axles
-1/2" wheel studs
-4-channel ABS/TCS
-Yukon Iron center
-Eaton Tru-trac
-Fully assembled

I'd like to see some real world feedback on that Quick Performance 9. Since its significantly cheaper than the others I'd like hear feedback on things like fitment, quality, completeness, etc.

I have had 4.10s and I felt they were too much, I didn't like being a little over 2k at 65-70. I think I am going to go with the quick performance rear, its within budget (barely/not really) haha, and it should hold no problem for a long time. like I said ill probably be no more than 450rwhp end goal, so I think this rear is a good option.

you are certainly right about that, after doing a more broad search on quick performance rears in general for other drag cars, they have a very good reputation, didn't find any bad reviews.. so I do believe the reliability and quality is there for sure

Good deal. If you are completely comfortable with it then definitely go for it. That's kind of how I feel about the Strange S60. I've talked to just about every vendor and even a few people personally. The concensus is that its the best overall fitting rear and at this point the best overall option for my wants, needs, and budget

I went mwc fab 9. For many reasons.
1. How many do you see for sale used? Few and far between. People sale problems and keep what works.
2. Layaway. I started paying right after the end of last season. Paid what I could when I could. Just finished it off and she is two weeks till she is mine.
3. The options. Everything I could have wanted or ask for.

So in short with the MWC 9" rear would I still be okay in autocrossing or would you recommend a different setup?
Also where can I get a Strange S60 given the previous link didn't work?

You can get the Strange S60 directly through Strange Performance or MWC. The link I posted was from Strange's website.
The MCW 9" would be just fine for autocrossing, but it's probably not the best period. A 10 bolt would probably be better for just pure autocrossing
