Best airbag for right rear spring?
What are you guys using for airbags in your right rear spring?
What pressure do you find works best?
Also any part numbers would be appreciated as well <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0">

Had the same one as tony. As far as setting it, the best way is to get a video from the dead rear of your car on launch - you want it perfectly level. The more "hook" you have, the mroe psi you need (since the "squat" to one side will be more pronounced). I have run as high as 30. If you can't get a video get someone to squat and watch your car as it launches.

JDC, an inflated airbag in the spring will limit how much the car will squat. Basically the airbag will then be between the body of the car and the rearend.

Re: Best airbag for right rear spring?
The whole reason you use a bag in the spring is because when you launch the right rear side of the suspention collapes and thus pulling the right rear tire off the ground. It looks as if the car is transfering weight to the rear....but what is really happening is the right rear is coming off the ground per say. So your basicly pre loading the rear suspention on that side.

What do you have to do to install this bag? Remove the spring I’d guess? Or can you get in in the spring while uninflated with the spring still on the car?

Ryan, the best way is to remove the spring, it's really easy. I actually squished it in between the coils once and I will never do it that way again it took forever.

Thanks PSJ <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">
I think I'll be trying one of these next year. The rear springs do come out very easy once the car is off the ground.

Re: Best airbag for right rear spring?
Ok guys here is deal with my RR airbag and track times. I run from 12 to 15psi in mine and my 60fts. get slower at times Vs. running without any psi in the bag. Whats the deal? What am i doing wrong lol
Here is a run down on what i do: Drop the ET Streets to 15psi. (cold),air the bag to about 15psi to 16psi and run a few then drop down little by little until i get my best 60ft. but i always seem to hook better with no air in the bag. My car squats big time also if the car plants. HELP ME! lol

The same way you change the pressure in your tires. <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">

<strong>Ok, cool. Meaning to increase pressure, I would have to drag my fat *** all the way over to the air pumps at the track... <img src="images/icons/tongue.gif" border="0"> <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0">

That's why you buy a $30 compressed air tank to take to the track with you <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">
