1. Why are people still asking how to keep a 10 bolt in service
2. Why are people still buying 12 bolts for M6 cars
3. When will every one stop buying 12 bolts and wake up and get a 9" from a qualified builder.
I must admit i fell for the Strange 12 bolt scam i had to rebuild it 2x before i sold it on ebay.
PLEASE STOP.

Im pretty sure that as long as there are more new people coming to this site there will always be a question about the rearend and everything else on this car. Isn't that what the forum is for??? If the 12 bolt is so crappy why does anyone have it? And why shouldn't you put a 12 bolt in an M6? I have an M6 and was looking into a 12bolt. I would really like to know. Thanks.

READ MY friend ( SEARCH). I had one for less then a year after 2 rebuilds and all new guts it stil;l a POS.
You want one go to the for sale section my buddy is selling his it is not even broke in yet he is going with a 9" because of all the BS io had to do with mine
I also have a 9"form Scott works great Dead quiet best money i have spent on the car so far
you want one $2100 takes it .

Not to mention there are some of us who autox and road race heavily. The stock 10-bolt with a T2R, solid pinion spacer, TA cover and preload bolts has held up fine for me over 400HP for 4 years now and with DAMN sticky tires! The T2R makes ALL the difference in making a 10-bolt survive. Not everyone drag races.

It is all cool i here what you guys are saying about Auto-X. I guess i just gave my side and my experience i went through. If it is working for all you guys great i am just saying i had terrible luck and so has countless other guys on the board.
As for the ABS i did a brake slam at about 65-70 and she did not lock up i could not tell the defference. It was a nice dry hot day but how many of us use these cars as daly drivers at the level we are talking about.

i know for me its because it is my daily driver but even as a bolt on only car its making enough to pop the 10 bolt. im having a hard time rationalizing a 12 bolt let alone a 9 inch. talking about a mid 12 second car that needs a 3k rear end??? thats crazy. id rather spend 1k on a 10 bolt if it could be made to handle to few trips a year i make to the track. btw what the heck is a t-2r?

well my car made 407 to the rear with a 10 bolt. I ran the car with the 12 blot and clicked off a 11.7 pass. Now i have the 9" so i do not know how much power i am puting down but with that power level i nuked the 12 bolt twice.
