Default Which posi in 12-bolt?

Stripped 2 teeth off the ring gear in my 10 bolt tonight at the track, so I'm ordering a 12-bolt soon. Which posi should I get? If I drop $2500 on a rear and have the posi unit go out, I will kill people.

Also, is the $100 33-spline Eaton option for the moser the Heavy Duty unit? Is this a good posi? I'm looking at this and the Detroit TrueTrac.

and is the aluminum support cover worth it? I'm tight on cash, so if it's not mandatory, I'd rather not get it.

I would say ifyou realy dont want to have to replace the posi, get the TruTrac. From what I have read its a prety stout piece. I got the $100 option for the "heady duty" option with my Moser 12 bolt, and about 3,000 miles later I'm doing one wheel burnounts. I will be either getting the Trutrack for a locker.

Just ordered my 12 bolt with the true track. Should be shipped out tomorrow. Maybe be here friday. I will let you know how it is. I am going to go threw it and make sure the set up is right.

I have done a bunch of research on this lately and this is what I have found. The true trac seems to be about the best thing out there if you are looking for a posi unit. If you go with the true track then you will be getting a mosure setup. The heavy duty eaton is the best after that. Now if you are just looking to go in a straight line and do not care about cornering then get a locker and be done with it. From the looks of the car the locker will be the better choice and is cheaper.
