Default installed 9" why the E brake light????

well installed it to day and we also adjusted the ebrake by the things you can spin.

is that the sole reason or what else could it be.

what is the propor way to do that?

when i start the car put the e brake down teh light goes off and the Drl's come on.
drive not even 15ft and the light comes on.

should i try and readjust teh e brake of does it stay on like teh abs inop

do you have a 3 channel rear end? as you may know there isn't a 3 channel 9" and that's what mine does. i lost my ABS with my 9" and since i just unplugged the wire from the chassis that used to go to the rear end, now my ABS INOP light is always on, and same with the e-brake. when i put my e-brake down, the BRAKE light goes out and my DRL's come on, but as soon as my car moves a few feet, the BRAKE light comes back on....this may be your same situation??

if you have a 4 channel rear end and all your stuff works for your 9", i'm guessing you may have something unplugged along the way?

U should check ur e brake linkage to see if the new rearend didn't shorten it or make it too long

Are your park brake cables too loose? If they are, they will not hold the lever down (thus not keeping the switch curcuit open and the light off). Check the tension in the park brake cables, maybe they loosened up with this rear end swap.

The only other thing tied into that circuit is the brake reservoir (I think). Check your fluid levels as well.

If it was a wheel speed sensor problem, that would only affect your ABS and trigger the ABS INOP light and not the BRAKE light.

ok also my stock sway bar is rubbing the mount for the ta mount.

as you looking at the rear the 2 round rods to the left its rubbing the one could that cause some vibrations?

when im at high way speeds 60-75 and i left off the gas, in or out of gear i get some vibes from the back of the car untill i slow down to about 50 or so. drive sfaft outta balance.

but it also did it with the stock 10 bolt
