Quick question before i order......
Quick question before i order...... Im about to order a set of Motive 4.10s for the 10-bolt. Before i order them i have a couple quick questions.
1. I know with the richmond gears you need to either buy a paddle kit, or grind away are little from the block the holds in the c-clips for the 99+ torsen carriers, will i need to do this with Motives also?
2. Which install kit do you recommend? Richmond or Ratech? or are they basically the same thing?

awesome just what i needed to know. thanks man.
I did two gear installs on my LT1 T/A
1st time i rushed it and blew up the rear
2nd time i took my time and did it right, and they were fine for 6K miles from the time i put them in till when i sold the car.
So hopefully this install goes well two.

also i came accross these

they are claiming that these are O.E. GM gears, packaged by Motive. are they really? because i thought our O.E. gears were produced by AAM. and if they are actually GM gears, would you go with these, or the regular Motives?
