Looking at aftermarket driveshafts. I hear good things about denny's and the price is right. Will I see more gain from a carbon fiber? My car is mostly street driven but I plan to have 570hp next year. I hear you should stay away from the CF units on street cars.

LOL, my Denny's weighed in at a scant 18-19 lbs, cost me only 320 bucks, and they garunte I will not break it. A Carbon Fiber DS may only weigh 9lbs, but has no garunte and costs 800 bucks. You might gain 4rwhp with the CF DS.
No brainer for me.

I have heard of a couple of guys breaking Denny's nitrous shafts. But they broke a WHOLE lot of other stuff too (and the other stuff is what took out the DS). (snap a torque arm and wrap it around the shaft, it does wonders for everything under there)
At half the cost, greater strength, lifetime warranty, free shortening if necessary, how can you go wrong with Denny's?

I am very happy with my 3" Chromolly driveshaft.I got it from www.markwilliams.com .
It's very beefy but cost me a little more because I got the trans/rear yokes.
good luck

I would go carbon fiber.A few have broken them just like the Deny's unit.I mainly bought it for the safety purposes for me as well as my car.Everyone told me to get a loop and it will do the same.Well it all depends on where the shaft breaks or what else breaks on the car.I would go with a custom Mark Williams CF if your afraid of the acpt unit. Most people that break them are usually six speeds which also are the ones who break the rears all the time.I wont lie six speed I would go chromoly but auto CF.Thats just me though.
