Ring & Pinion ??? What gears for my 2000 LS1 6 speed do you guys recommend?? I have had 4.10 in my old LT1 and loved them but have been thinking about 4.30's and even 4.56's. Chime in guys and Gals and let me know
I have GM 4.30's installed & have no regrets....Im glad I chose 4.30's over 4.10's...there is only a 100rpm difference between the 2. I daily drive my ride & saw a 2 mpg decrease over the 3.42's

I've got GM 4.10s in my car now. Had Superiors, and when the shop swapped them for 4.10s, they said they had never heard gear whine that bad, even on race-only cars.

Bit of a SOTP difference is an understatement....lol I get a slight whine at about 60mph.....when I first got em in, no whine whatsoever, but now i'm getting a lil whine but u have to really listen for it

......I still have Trans am chrome's w/Fuzion zri 245/50/16's, I spin the tires quite a bit but hook pretty good when I feather the clutch. Maybe for DD u will be o.k. w/ 4.10's/4.30's..... just feather the clutch when u launch at the track or street, just to be on the safe side
