http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_4L60-E_transmission (for ratios)

http://www.f-body.org/gears/ (for calculator)

I did a quick calculation based on a 6k redline, 245/50-16 or 26" tall tire, in 3rd gear you should hit redline @ 123mph. So basically a wicked h/c set up, or a good shot of juice on a cam only set up would I worry about hitting it. Worse comes to worse, you short shift so you come in lower in the next gear, this saves taggin the limiter at the end of the track

http://www.thunderracing.com for gears and kit.

yea i wont ever be concerned about going 123 on the race track lol. You think it will pick it up around .2? I just want a 12.99 slip before the track closes

As long as you can cut a 1.7 60 foot, I think its definitly attainable, take all extra weight out of it, and let it fly.

Doesnt matter unless youre shifting into O/D in the quarter. 4th gear in a M6 is the same as 3rd in a Auto.

I noticed a difference as soon as a started out in 1st gear when I finally got it back from the mechanic. I was worried about hitting the rev limiter in the 1/4 with 4.10s, thats why I went with the 3.90s.
