Moser Axle-Which gears for street?
I have a 6 speed 2002 T/A. I would like to up grade the rear axle. I know the 4.11's are very popular, but I would like to get comments from you guys on what you guys prefer. Would anyone prefer the 3.91's over the 4.11's for a street application?---Thanks

I have 3.73s in my '96 Formula 6 speed and wouldn't trade them for 4.11s unless I was going to the track. With this gearing the car comes off the line nicely, but not overbearing.
If you only use the car on the weekends the 4.11s would be lots of fun. For a daily driver the 4.11s would just be too much.
This is all just my opinion of course.

I had 3.90's in my 10 bolt always wished I went to 4.10's. When I changed my rearend,I put 4.30's in my 9" and absolutely love them!!! 2150 rpm @75 in 6th with 275/35/18's in the rear. I will need a taller tire at the track when I get my cam put in though.

street application 4.10s will be ok, track you'd want the 3.9's or even 3.73's or youre gonna need to spin the motor to high hell or get a taller tire. if you do a lot of highway driving it would also be a lot easier on you with the taller gear depending how loud your exhaust is

You'll run fastest in the 1/4 with 4.10's with a stock motor or motor with a few bolt on items.
As far as daily drive ability 4.10's are fine, people that tell you it's too much gear or bs like that are smoking crack
The difference from stock gears 3.42 to even 4.10's is only a few hundred rpm at 65 mph. Remember 6th gear is .50 overdrive so even if you get 4.10's it's a 2.05 final gear ratio.
Get the 4.10's you'll really notice the difference.
