I don't know if this has been mentioned, but would a housing ready for a 3rd member be available? I really like your design and I intended on saving the money for a complete bolt-in unit, but i am able to get my hands on a built 3rd member for next to nothing from my dad.

If nothing else, a housing w/ all brackets and plugs and the like would be awesome too.

Well I don't know if this helps, I ordered mine early Feburary. It will be here Thursday so they are going out now, and from what he said they should go out much quicker as some things he was waiting on for a number of them have gone through.

I'm a little worried about the exaust clearance on the TA crossmember but at this point I'd probably just take it to an exaust shop and see what they can do.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll get yours pretty quick!

this rearend uses an exclusive chromemoly adjustable torque arm that does not mount like the stock one. if you choose the tunnel mounted version, it comes with a crossmember and driveshaft loop. if you purchase the long version, it comes with a trans crossmember which relocates the torque arm off of the trans. most customers with traditional type torque arm assys have just opted to sell their current setup and apply that toward the cost of the 9 inch complete package.

It's been a while ago. But the rearend is nice if you had a chance to compare this and a moser, you would see where some of the weight savings comes from. Erik has done a fair amount of work to the car this year, with the cage, chute, rack, etc.

this might be a dumb question but i see that you have struts instead of the shocks seperate from the spring. is this a must for the fab9 or can i still use my stock springs? and what brand are those struts incase i have to get them?

that is a simple coil-over rear shock conversion. it mounts in the stock shock location, but a stock shock and coil spring will work as well. all the bracketry has the stock hole locations and geometry.

eric it has been 17 days since you posted that my rear was done, that on top of the 120+ some days we have been on this project have me right irritated to be honest.

i would hate to think that people who constantly bother you about theirs would be jumping the line over people such as myself who are waiting patiently.
