Its not locked for me?

I called eric last week, spend some time on the phone with me. Going over everything I wanted, I was impressed. The price was a little more then I was expecting, but it's a lot of stuff.

If you price out "other" Fab 9's you will see how much value your getting. Hell price out any rear end with the standard options on one of Erics and you will see what a bargain it is. Not to mention the top notch quality.

I picked up my rear from Eric yesterday. OMG I had to rub one out on the way home. The workmanship Eric puts into his parts is top notch. I got the rear in the car late last night but, stopped toying when it came to running the brake lines and stuff. Was too damn tired. Ill post some pics once I find out how lol.

Eric, thanks for all your hardwork and a great product.

You can't reply to sponsor feedback. Glad to hear all the compliments. Eric sounds like he has it going on.

note about Eric@midwestchassis....

Just got back from the Drag Expo here in Chicago and hung with him for a bit. Hes gonna make me a crossmember for my lt1 car to run a th350. He was all stoked on making it and gonna run a "test" on my car and hes gonna make it out of aluminum for more weight savings AND backing it up if it breaks. This guy will go out of his way for ANYONE. You can truly tell he loves this sport and helping anyone out that needs it. SOOOO if you wonder why he takes a little more time then other mass productions companies, that is why.

Good deal...I've only had the pleasure of 2 phone conversations with him and was very impressed with his knowledge and the fact he spent at least 20 minutes each time to come up with the best setup for me and to ensure the proper measurement for a DS after I was having issues with my PST. GREAT GUY in my book!

Well I got the rear in place. Was gonna throw the torque arm and front mount on but, I sold the bolts along with the UMI torque arm. What bolts/washers do I need to get? Im using Erics tunnel mount, not the trans mount version.

It should come with all the hardware, if not I would talk with Eric and see if he can send you some. Or just get the specs on the bolts and see if you can pick them up at homedepot or something

I think the post states to reuse the factory hardware for the T/A mount. I think they are 8mm x .125pitch about 25-30mm long. What do you think of the rear? I just ordered mine. Also how long did it take for you to get it?

the factory hardware is to be re-used for the tunnel mounted torque arms. if you don't have the original bolts, then a set of grade 8.8 or 9.8, 8mm x 1.25 metric bolts and the appropriate washers will do the job. they only need to be 20-25mm(3/4-1 inch) long.

we do supply all the necessary grade 8 hardware along with the rearend, other than where the factory bolts are reused(crossmember mounting to body).

I guess I missread his post, I thought he was talking about bolt for the torque arm itself where it connects to the link.

And if I recall correctly, there are no factory bolts in those holes for the tunnel mount. I could be wrong though, my girlfriend is sitting near me and I am always wrong when she is present.... My 3-point subframe connectors came with bolts to use to mount them to the tunnel area.

Edit - thaqt was supposed to quote Eric's post too....dunno what happened.

The new crossmember replaces the stock one, bolts into the same place. So you just re-use the bolts that held your stock crossmember. If you dont have them anymore just go to homedepot and pick them up, thats what I did.

Well from factory there is a little "Brace" if you dare call it that and has bolts. bolt people ditch it because some aftermarket exhaust will not clear it.
