Default Safety loop to fit the LPE 3.5" driveshaft?

Hi everyone. I was told by BMR tech support that their bolt in DS safety loop would allow enough clearance for the Lingenfelter 3.5 inch alluminum driveshaft. Well, I installed it and it soundsed like my car was falling apart because it was rubbing and vibrating like crazy. It came really really really close to the stock torque arm or stock exhaust no matter how I adjusted it. I scraped up the DS too, especially in the turns. So, is there a bolt in DS loop out there to fit around this DS or would I have to get one fabricated? Thanks in advance!

Get it fabricated. Doesn't need to be fancy and pretty, so if you keep it simple you can find someone to make one on the car for a $100.

When I had my 3" Denny's shaft, minimum clearance to the Lakewood loop was on the passenger side and it was 0.75". So, you should be just fine with that loop. Its about the best loop available anyway for clearance and has a good amount of adjustability.

Thanks for the replies so far So with the lakewood, I won't have any rubbing issues or anything, even in the corners (where the BMR REALLY rubbed)? The lakewood is availible through Jegs correct?

Lakewood here, too. Plenty of clearance with my Denny's 3.5" Aluminum shaft. Easy to install. Only $50.

I had to shim my Lakewood with spacers to keep it off the stock exhaust....(I'm running SLP connectors which moves the mounting point down), after that, it works great....
