I bet they price it like 1k under a Gt500. 70k is dumb, the CTS-V doesn't even cost that much. I think they are in the mid 60k range.

right...the cTS-V sedan starts in the low 60s, but I dont think that the Camaro should be anywhere near that. Keep in mind, the cts-v is 27,000 more than the complete base model cts sedan but there is a ton more than just a drivetrain upgrade to the cts-v. also, the caddy is a luxury car so it brings a bigger price for the same addition across the GM brands. the loaded V6 CTS is about 12,000 less than the CTS-v so if they mark up the Camaro SS for the addition of the LSA with that same 12,000 price and youre in the high 40s to low 50s, when applied to a 2SS camaro...

that leaves a nice price gap between the performance camaro and luxury performance CTSV coupe...at the same time, i wonder how GM will be concerned about an LSA powered camaro hurting vette sales? do they really care right now considering how well the camaro is selling?

I doubt a Z28 would cut into Vette sales. They are completely different cars now. It's like a 4th gen compared to a C5. If anything the Vette became more of a sports car and the Camaro became more of a GT car. I can't wait for the Z, I hope I get a raise by then.

That is actually an enthusiast rendering. There aren't any concept pics yet but a lot of insiders say this car is a glimpse of production Z28 body work.

Anyone know if this car will be released for 2011? I was planning on buying a 2010 camaro but if there going to be coming out with this one I want to wait. Anyone know how much the actually price tag would be around?
