Another stock 11.9 Zl1 here. I ran this time the first day running the ZL at the track. Hoping for quicker times in the fall if the street tires cooperate.

I'm sure it'll run mid 11s with a drag radial. The factory tires are severely traction limited. I was hoping to try for 11.7s in the fall but I was informed these tires don't like temperatures below 60 degrees. My best 60' on my first day was a 1.74...with a 1.76 on another pass. My best since then has been a 1.85

I'd hope a stock ZL1 A6 with DR's in good air would run at least 11.6. I still think the car should have made more power stock for the money, Shelby GT is over 122 mph stock, and I think Evan Smith drove one and went 11.6 or 11.7 on stock tires, and maybe 11.3 on DR's. That's what I'm talking about. That's why I didn't get one.

My A6 has actually gone 120 on one pass. I plan on going 11.4s in good air with nothing more than tires... I hope . Md. has some of the best hooking tracks when the da gets really good. I think my car could run 11.8s now on street tires with a lighter driver.

But that is an aggressive race gas tune, and those class cars run at 3150, and this run was done at reportedly 2800 raceweight (3150 - 350). Let's keep in mind a ZL1 is like 4200 with a driver.... 1400 lb difference.

Lololol the power isnt the issue. . If I took the engine out if my car, with the trans connected to it, my car would STILL not way 3100 pounds. .

I make 705rwhp and 694trq at the wheels now with a auto 2013 ZL1. I just bought a set of 20 inch Nitto drag radials 315`s. Car hooks so much better but still spins if I`m not careful.. I make over 600trq at 2500rpms...Car is amazing now! I like the weight for safety and ride quality.. This car is built strong! I can`t wait to see the track with her! I looked and truly struggled on a 2013 GT 500. I have a friend at work that sold his GT 500 because it was falling apart. Very fast but was a issue keeping together... I wanted a complete car and man I got it!! Then I added a little hot sauce..

I took over the number 1 spot over on C5 recently. Curious where other fast ZL1's are posting their times.
