Hard Top Vert?
Y'all,
Seeing as it is in Vogue to do hardtop verts...and said vehicles are rather good looking (if not portly). Why not a hardtop camaro? Sure none of us will buy them (except me ), but there have to be ppl that do not mind all that extra pudge with a large V8. You get the good looks of the hard top...with the wind in your hair. Hell, the G6 hardtop vert looks good and we know the camaro would look good with it. The technology is there for this to be done without costing a left nut and I am at least one buyer. So what is the consensus?

well i have to say it really depends i love the looks of a hard top but i love droping the top on a nice day. so if they can do it at a resonable price without weighing 400lb more and have good relibilty i would very possibly buy one.

why arent they making T tops anymore? i heard it was because of safety regulations. i believe ttops are completely safe. i flipped my 98 z28 and landed upside down and skidded for a while with the ttops off and i survived. sounds safe to me.

"If this is true...WTF would you start a thread about it for?"
Because, fucktard, I like the looks of hardtop verts and I truly wish to pick ppl's brains.

i've driven a vert before and with the top up i thought it was ugly, and with the top down i didn't feel too manly. however it wasn't an f-body so i can't really say how i would feel in an f-body vert. either way i'd much rather have t-tops or a targa top

I think it would sell slowly honestly, but if you could get it why not offer it esp if they already made a safe strong test mule no reason not to make some for the public.
