Thanks to an eagle-eyed painter at an unspecified dealership in these great United States, we now have a list of colors in which you can order a 2009 Chevy Camaro when the time comes. Keep in mind that production colors for the Camaro have not been officially announced by Chevy, so while these appear to be from an OK source that has no reason to lie to us, you never know. Plus, while the eight colors above and the two below for which we couldn't find samples may be offered, there could be more than what we're seeing here, as well. Conspicuously absent from this list are any shades of green or white, for instance. That said, we have ten colors here, and the 2008 Ford Mustang is only offered in 10 colors (warning: PDF link), as well. Ford does offer the Mustang in Performance White, however, but the only green Mustang you can get is the Bullitt.

If that are the only colors GM offers I would be very disappointed, although the Aqua Blue Metallic sounds like a nice color. I was really hoping for Hugger Orange but they may have it as an option by the second model year when I plan to get one.

I think this list is bogus. It's very early for dealers to already have a color sample on the camaro. We don't get color samples until a month or so before they allowe you to put in preliminary orders.

The fact that there is a brown and 2 blues makes me think this is bogus too. Why would they offer brown but not orange? This looks like a sedan color list.

This is not the official colors list.

At best, it's a sample of a *few* colors that *could* be offered, since these are all paints that exist at the Oshawa facility.

With one of the three concepts being Hugger Orange, I would be 99.999999% sure that Hugger Orange (Carousel Red) will be offered.

I hope so, and I was expecting orange to be one of the first colors they'd release since orange is a popular color right now and was a camaro specific color. I hope it's called hugger orange also, and they leave carousel red for future pontiacs

I still hope they go ahead and spray some in that wonderful brown color. For real, if I can get one in that mocha, I'll get it over just about any color, bar maybe competition yellow or LeMans Blue...

Bring back dusk blue, lemans blue, hugger orange, rallye green, white, cortez silver, etc...

It's been awhile since I posted here and this subject may have already been talked about..... I work for a dealership as a painter in the body shop, anyway I was looking up a color today and saw that the Camaro was listed and the year was for 09. So I looked up the vehicle 2009 Camaro and there was a list of colors for the 09 Camaro! Now whether these are set in stone I have no idea, either way it brought a smile to my face

This is not a bogus list but it is NOT an official "GM" color list. It is JUST what is in our paint system which anyone can look at. With that said I think the paint selection is pretty lame. We have all these colors, with the exception of Aqua Blue and Switchblade, in our color decks which give a TON better depiction of the color vs the internet swatches. They seem to be blah for the Camaro but as others have said they may look better on the car? Anyway lets hope GM gives us some more exciting colors before the debut of the car Hugger orange has my vote, but I am sure that will be saved for the convertible.
