Default Should I buy a 2000 z28/m6 with 78k?

I am looking at a 2000 z28 m6 with 78k, the dealer is asking $7000 +tax/lic. I am really interested in the car but I am afraid that it is only because I drove it, what do you guys think is it worth it? It has exhaust, y pipe, anti-roll bars and intake. Other than that the car looks stock. The guy doesnt want to lower the price at all, should I wait for something else or go for it? My brother who works at a dealer told me to wait til he gets one on trade in, if this were the case I could possibly get one with similar mileage but for about 4-5k. The only problem with that is that I would have to wait who knows how long . Let me know what you guys think, thanks.

that seems to be a good price depending on condition. I honestly would expect it to be higher from a dealership adn can see why he wont move on that price. Im sure if you have a hook up that you can get it for 4-5 k, but its hard to find high millage ones for 4-5 k so I wouldnt expect to find one with under a hundred thousand miles for thet 4-5 k range. From what ive seen that car should probable be in the 6500-10000 range

I think that is a good price, if you have any worries take the car to a local auto repair shop....it will cost about $100 for them to inspect it.

Sounds like a pretty good price. If the car checks out okay, of course.

that price for that car is absolutly nowhere to be found where i live. half to go about 500 miles at least for that kinda deal. the cheapest ls1 T/a ive seen around was 11000 for a 99, with 98000 on it!

I picked up my car pretty cheap, All the options, Sunset Orange.... The car is spotless underneath, I seen that as my friend was installing the subframe connectors.

I say go for it.

well, iv'e been waiting to sell and my truck and it looks like I finally got someone interested but whats even better is that the dealer selling the camaro lowered it!!! I might walk out the lot paying about 5700+tax/lic but damn thats a good deal, ive been doing some research and really excited cant wait to get it, Im going to try and post some pics from the dealer. Hopefully everything works out and I dont get another flake with the guy buying my truck. Thanks for the feedback.

Thats a pretty good deal, throw some rims on it and you'll be good to go.

Mine is like that too and it's annoying. Any quick or easy fix? I'm just afraid to pulled it the other way and crack the fender or something knowing my luck.

Man, that sounds like a good deal to me. I got my 01 z28 with 68k miles for 8700 plus 700 for tt&l. Just don't impulse buy it, get it checked out first. Believe me, I have learned my lesson about that ****.

You know what? ...I think both of my fenders stick out like that... Huh.

Yeah, the $7,000+ price wasn't so hot for around here. I was going to suggest shooting more for like $5,500. So, that's a great price from a dealer! Gah, I do hate those snow flake rims though. Great color of car. I'd go back to a stock grille and put some chrome ZR1's on that bad boy.

Im think that car has "clear corners," BTW. The turn signals should be amber stock. Do a search in the appearance forum if youre not sure what that is.
