Default I decided to help the economy out....

Got rid of the STI and picked up a new DD... an 09 Silverado. 5.3L, 4x4 blablabla. Will serve as a tow vehicle for my 2000 formula "racecar".

Isn't it amazing how low the prices are now adays?!?! It's a shame it takes hard times to get the prices of new vehicles back where they should be. Nice truck by the way.

Nice truck, but personally I'd much rather still have the STi

The STi sucked at pulling the formula to and from the track so I opted for this. Along with me racing MX bikes it just made more sense to own a truck over the STI.

Nice truck, but why the 5.3 - the 6.0 is much better suited for towing. I've got a CC w/5.3 and there are times a little extra torque would be nice when towing the boat.

NICE! I got my Silverado in NOV. '08. I got the 6.0 and love it! But your truck still looks very nice!

The 5.3 is a nice inbetween engine from the 4.8L 2wd silverado we already have and the 6.0L suburban that's also in the family. This is my personal DD truck and should be plenty to haul the 2700lb firebird on an open trailer to the local tracks (less than 30 minutes from my home). If I need to take the enclosed and or travel any kind of distance I would take the 6.0L suburban for that.

Why black though? Black is the hardest color to take care of.
