By the way, e-thuggery is easier if you sound like you're not, well, a moron. But I got a good compliment today, a little girl at the gas station, like 5 or 6 years old, runs over and asks me if I would trade cars with her dad because mine was so cool.

My GM buddy rags me all the time. To sell my 96 GT since it has 240k miles on it. My CPA office rags me cause its loud (headers, o/r x pipe, SLP loudmouth catback) and my office rags me cause its a Ford with that many miles "oh they built one that lasts?" My wife hates my car, rather me get a 05 black GT with an ahhh AUTO! aaahhh.

yes I've had a few remarks that myself and my car didn't deserve. But that's just people. Who knows? Had one dick pull a piece on me when I come unglued. Now there's a .40 in my glove box. Being that now I've got a little more to lose, I do more laughing than fighting anyways.

Right after i had the car running with the new motor i was running it open headers around the block just going through the gears working out any bugs. Out of nowhere this mom pulls out almost into the street and is waving her hands saying slow down SLOW DOWN!! Big *** panic cause her kids where in the yard. I got home and drove my truck over and said 20 mph TWENTY MPH, that was it. I said i apologize for the noise i just got my car running and wanted to drive it around and she was so apologetic and said it was just so loud and she thought I was racing it.
I mean its to be expected with a loud car with a cam, i got dirty looks most of the time because people thought i was driving fast. I got used to comments. Lots of people also thought it was the coolest thing in the world too. "Look mom it's a race car!"
