I've heard from a few people that all 2001-2002 F-bodies came with a LS6 intake but some even came with an LS6 block as well.... however, they were under different part number then the normal LS6 motors i was wondering if anyone knew the part numbers for the LS6 blocks put in 2001-2002 F-Bodies and also the LS6 intake manifold put in F-bodies for 2001-2002
i'm buying a 2002 WS6 and would really like to know thanks everyone

Dont worry about what to look for, if you have an 01-02 you will have a LS6 intake, and the block itself brings no real advantages as far as extra power goes. In fact the block is slightly weaker in FI applications because the bay windows.

does this mean that the LS6 Equipped F-bodies are faster?
also what is the difference between the LS6 and LS1 block and also the LS6 and LS1 intake manifold?
