Default Was this a good deal?

I finally broke down and did the first mods on my 98 WS6. I did long tubes, off road Y pipe, catback, LS6 intake, 410 gears, valve springs, pushrods and a tune. I bought all the parts and a friend of a friend did it all for $500.

Im pretty sure I got a good deal I think. Did I? What would that cost if I took it to a speed shop? I just got out of the military and have been out of the car game for a while so I feel like I forgot everything I knew.

The change in performance on my car is awesome. I cant wait to do heads and cam

You got valve springs & push rods, but no cam?
Are you planning for the future?

A good tune alone will probably run ya around $350. I'd say you got a hell of a deal.
