The thing is cobra's dont need to be built. Im sure the stock eaton once ported by steggy will make over 500rwhp. You gotta keep in mind, this is with all stock parts, no internal upgrades, no aftermarket blowers. Thats the beauty of it. All im getting it. The LS1 is great, especially if you're keeping it N/A. Has nice compression, revs like crazy and the fact that it gets killer mileage is also a bonus despite the fact that no one with these cars really looks at that too too much.
As for girls thinking what they like the best, well wtf do they know really? As long as the thing is red, thats the one thats gonna get the best pick. And if incase you buy a car for picking up chick OR to worry what others are gonna say, thats nothing but super lame, sorry.

Guess you haven't watched any races on stock cobras vs stock LS1's, or read about kill stories on this board.
Yes you can mod the cobra and it'll be faster than a stock Ls1, but you can throw a cam/heads on an LS and it'll probly run the cobra. They're just big old tanks.

And now that I think about it. When my cobra was stock. I was running neck and neck with a 01 A4 C5 Vert. He did have the GU92, and had an intake and catback. He was running 13.2@108, while I was running 13.1@110.

Def keep the cobra. put a TS on that biotch and be done with it. there is no way i would trade my cobra for a vette. i dont even think i would take a z06, i love the blower it adds a new level to a car. plus they are rare as ****.
