GOD ![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
this is prob more like it maybe Tom is God?
Tom Stephen was the guy in charge of getting the program together to do it.
he was the executive director of gm powertrain
Alan Hayman and Jim Mazzola were two of the engineers to work up the gen lll. There were some others
Ed Koerner was a former NHRA record holder and the chief engineer on the gen lll. He was GM Chief engineer for the V8's
Tom and Ed were the main guys to get it done but there were a few people that helped in the design. Tom Stephen's is the one to probably get the credit because of his title.
They were all GM guys no Ford
