Default has anyone dynoed a stock camaro/firebird LS1

I dynoed my car yesterday i have just a exhuast and k&n filter and it has 150000 miles on it i went there looking to get 280 290 hp at rear wheel i pulled 356 356 and 358 hp and 419 torque i know gm doesnt dyno there stuff they just put numbers in a computer and it spits out what the car should be but damn thats a lil jump i have heard lt1 and the ls1 are under rated anyone else get numbers like tis in a stock car?

I don't know man those numbers are kinda out there, you were right to expect 280-300 at the wheels on a stock car. With a fresh engine a magnaflow catback and slp lid mine dynoed 311 to the wheels.

ummm no. a stock car wont dyno anywhere above 310. a car with bolt ons can make those numbers, but not likely.

btw 1:8 rockers will have a slight effect Still a VERY happy dyno.

What does "exhaust" consist of? Just a catback or is it headers, y-pipe and a catback?

Where did you hear that GM doesn't dyno their cars? Every Corvette that leaves the factory gets a dyno. GM knows exactly what they are doing with the LS1, they just purposely underrated them from the factory for the Fbody.
Generally stock LS1 Fbodies dyno anywhere from 290 to 320RWHP depending on the dyno, transmission, and options.

no need for so many posts... stop, think, write, then think again, write what ever else you want to say, THEN post. no need to post ***** on the thread... if your doing it to sell in the classifieds, you dont have to , you've already been here for 6 months.

EDIT: (yes you can do that, so you dont have so may posts) There was NEVER a 400 hp trans am/ws6/camaro, that came from the factory. EVER.

There is no way completely stock except for exhaust, that you pulled those numbers to the wheels. The dyno is way way off or other bs is going on-- period.
