better headlights as well. my grand am lowbeams are seriously brighter than my TAs high beams. a tighter build so we wouldn't have all these squeaks and rattles.

Me:
- T-Tops! (Every 4th gen F-Body should've come with them)
- Upgraded the DRL Sockets due to weak factory wiring
- Upgraded Fog Light Sockets due to weak factory wiring
- Installed an On/Off switch for the automatic headlight sensor
- Re-wired the Passenger Door Window so it gets a full 12V direct from the battery, not through the Drivers Door Switch
- Whistler Headlights (just my opinion but all the Camaro's should have these)

I think that's it. Right now I'm working on a way to get a full 12V to the Drivers Side Window motor and still retain the Auto-Down feature.
(And in all wiring upgrades "I" = my friend who's and electrical genius) Thanx! Lol
All great mods - only one I don't have to do is t-tops. Whoever ordered my car new was smart enough to get them.

Only mod I've done that should have come from the factory was '01-02 WS6 wheels. I think the Formula should have come with these stock, they really complement the look of the car IMO. Leave the earlier, thin spoke style for the WS6, and the later ones for the Formulas.

NO V8 car should have come with 16" wheels, IMO.

This is a good thread, it's my method of modding.

I added the 2002 SLP blackwing airbox lid. (wasn't available in 1998)
LS6 intake (Wasn't available in 1998)
Chrome WS6 wheels (better than polished aluminum)
1LE LCA bushings
Reprogrammed fan temps for lower than 228 degrees
Sunfire ashtray
SLP smooth bellows

Good shocks are the fix for this, get some quality ones and kiss the interior noises from bumps goodbye and welcome dramatically better ride, handling and control.

Def the thin POS Y-pipe. Along with the rest of the highly restrictive exhaust.

When I think of things that should have been done from the factory a 12 bolt and more horse power is not one of them, I think little things, otherwise us F-body guys should buy vettes. I wish there was a 12v source in the counsel for charging stuff. My phone charger is too close to the shifter on the front lighter. I also wish the counsel locked on T-top cars. My seat belts suck ***; they don't retract at all and get tangled easy. Ditch the uni-body so I can make my first mod something fun instead of SFC. Take the torque arm off the trans tail shaft. Not rivet the front plate mount to the bumper insert. Make the T-top holder on the back horizonal instead of vertical with the little door covering it, so I can still go to the store, or gym with a passenger. A little room to change the spark plugs would not kill me either.

I wouldnt really worry about the exhaust cause i would just take it off anyway but true duels would be awsome and defintly a 12 bolt would have been great and how about a 4l80e for the auto 2 things you would never have to worry about they could have atleast had them as an option just like early muscle cars you could order a bullet proof drivetrain from the factory!!

I have a 99 formula. I want NON cracking door panels, an exhaust that is bigger then the stock on one my ******* civic, no air intake baffles/silencer(clear lid fixed that i suppose), 5 spd auto, a pinion seal that doenst keep going out, and like some1 else said, 'trunk' space with the t tops off.

I stand corrected

now with headers and ORY tho, that space is utterly useless... might get the ***** to one day cut that section out and weld in some flat sheet metal in its place...... Oh hell, I never sit there, why do I care LOL
