I plan on getting a 12 bolt with 3.73's and a dyno tune from Speed Inc. Is it worth the money? I'm thinking it is. Just wanted to make sure first. I have 2.73's now. Other mods might be a LS6 intake with the mods I have now. So will I feel the new mods? Thanks guys!

unless you're trying to add weight or waste money there's no need for a 12 bolt on a bolt-on, stock stalled automatic car that's probably on street tires haha. autos are much gentler on the rear than m6's.
if you have $2k to spend and you wanna go fast do gears, a stall, and a cooler. might even be able to afford a nice built tranny for the stall. or do gears and a bunch of suspension.
dyno tune is definitely worth it if you're not planning on doing any major mods for a while, but i'd say just wait if you plan on getting an ls6 intake and then do it.

I plan on getting a cam, heads and stall next summer. I have to wait and see how work goes first. It's getting slow at my job. But for now, I'll do the bolt ons and rear end with a tune.

If you do the rear swap, just get a base tune to swap the gear ratio over. Your car is so tame; why blow all that money on a dyno tune? Wait 'til you get some heavier mods, in my opinion. You'll definitely wake her up with some gears.
I just think at this level money could be more wisely spent than a tune, you know?

if you have plans of heads/cam/stall and plan to run it on the track a lot with sticky tires, go for the 12 bolt. your original post only said ls6 intake in which case it would be completely unnecessary.

On an automatic car, you'd be surprised. You aren't shocking the ring and pinion from a big clutch dump. Plenty of folks are cutting 1.6s and better on 10-bolts, but that doesn't mean it'll last forever. The way I look at it, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Wait 'til you snap that ******.
