I've heard thats normal. Mine rarely, if ever, drops below 40psi. usually 45 warm idle and never over about 65 when under load.

Might not answer your question directly but its all I know for sure. 26,000 miles

0, 20, 40, 60, 80 are the marks. the three in the middle are 20/40/60.

My ls1 with 130k has 50psi cold idle, 40-45psi warm idle, 35psi with the ac on, 60ish WOT... according to the stock gauge..

I've got 220K on mine - about the same pressure. 35'ish when idling in 90* +
weather. but I run M1 15w50 in the summer....

i don't think my gauge works right... so take my pressure with a grain of salt...

around 55PSI warm idle
around 65PSI cold idle
80ish at WOT at higher rpms.

146K Mine sits at 40PSI Hot on the stock gauge 50-60PSI cruising depending on RPM's and I don't pay attention at WOT unless I saw the gauge fall.

BTW Don't think the factory gauge is accurate. Take it with a grain of salt.

Anything from 25-55 is actually considered normal for a warm idle, but 40-45 is optimal.

Your numbers look pretty good. Why do you ask? Are you chasing some sort of problem, or just curious?

My oil pressure is about at half way up the guage when at idle (operating temp) and 3/4 when running. Sorry if this has already been answered.

Easy rule of thumb is as long as you've got at least 10psi per 1k RPM you should be fine.
