We always stayed N/A and tried to be creative to make power. Although you could put a hair dryer on it and go fast, but to us that is the easy way out. Plus if you have too much HP you still have to get it to the ground. So a twin turbo setup with massive HP might be nice to say that you have it, but it doens't really get you down track easily.
To each his own, I'll keep sticking with my N/A stuff. Less to mess with.

I was assisted by nitrous a few years ago and went though 3 motors in 2 years so (the one I have the last one I hope for a while, next will be if ever fully forged, set up and built for what I am going to do with it and depending on finances LOL), the aluminum blocks with the sleeves are just waiting to crack (been there 2, done that) but if you was going to go with any power adder (nitrous, supercharger, turbo) I would go with a iron block like 6.0 liter truck block and a game plan mapped out with what you are wanting, money to spend and supporting parts to handle it (transmission, rear, fuel system ect). Turbo in my opion would be the way to go power adder but ALL POWER ADDERS are great, always been a fan of Nitrous but ALL 3 are hard on motors.

Thanks for all your replies guys! I think it made for a good thread. I just wonder if a good N.A. motor would be enough for me. It would sure be the simplest option...

Just sounds sketch, as I know people with nitrous for years and their motors are still fine.
That's why I want to go nitrous. 95 percent of the time I'll have a full bolt on daily driver that is decent on power and as good as it gets for reliability, gas mileage, etc, but when I WANT to lay down an extra 100hp for a race, I can. Best of both imo.

NA Vs. FI < Will never win that argument since it's hard to say on what you are trying to achieve.
Do you really want a 600 Horse daily driver? Or you want something that is very daily drivable at about 450 horse?
My last car was fun. . . Solid motor build + N2o. . . . That was cool. I would love to build my Camaro with some very nice NA stuf + A custom fabricated direct port setup.
I love having the idea of a 400 horse + Motor and having another 150 safe horse power on tap.
Even the fogger plates seem real nice, but direct port sure looks and works the best.
