You may love your new ride but you will definitely miss the f-body. After 3 months you will be kicking yourself. *** Unless you haven't owned your F-body for long, then maybe you don't suffer from the addiction yet.

Depends on what you want.
They are a blast.
And god damn they can be fast.
Really just depends on what you see yourself in.
No you are not crazy, something on the car catches your eye.
Just figure out what it is.
This thread is kind of useless because you give no reasons.
We need to know what you prefer, what you're want
We don't make the decision, you do.

I had a IX MR and loved it. Quick as @#*& and got around 25 mpg. And the handling with the AWD....WOW. Also if you live in an area where it snows, put some good snow tires on it and nothing will touch you. My only negative, police are attracted to that carbon fiber tail like a fly on @#$&. If you do get one, may I suggest you take the rear spoiler off. It's one of the funnest cars I've ever driven, unfortunately, police tend to target it. If you go 5 over, they'll stop you. That's why I sold mine, got tired of getting pulled over doing 29 in a 25.

I've had my f body for about 2 years now. I love the car, the power, and its looks. I was just considering the evo for the awd. IL get a fair amount of snow. I also seen a episode on tv where they compared a stock evo to a stock lambo. and the evo was right on the lambo's *** on a track. just seems like they hold their value really well and you can invest a small amount of money to make them even faster than they already are. the mpg is a plus too

The FQ400, sold through Ralliart UK, produces 302.13 kW (405.2 hp) from its 2.0 L 4G63 engine, the result of special modifications by United Kingdom tuning firms Rampage Tuning, Owen Developments, and Flow Race Engines. At 202.9 hp (151.3 kW) per litre, it has one of the highest specific outputs per litre of any roadcar engine. With a curb weight of 3200 lb (1450 kg), it achieves 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds, 0-100 mph in 9.1 seconds, 1/4 mile in 12.1 seconds at 118 mph (190 km/h), and a top speed of 176 mph (283 km/h) while costing £47,000. BBC's television series Top Gear demonstrated that the stock FQ-400 could surprisingly keep up with a Lamborghini Murcielago around a test track. The Stig recorded a Top Gear Power Lap Times of 1 minute and 24.8 seconds, 1.1 seconds slower than the Murcielago's time of 1 minute 23.7 seconds.[6] In a similar test conducted by UK supercar magazine evo, the Evolution was able to lap the Bedford Autodrome faster than an Audi RS4 and a Porsche Carrera 4S.
But still evos can make pretty good power with just bolts on. Yet an fbody with bolts on will better. It just depends on what your looking for. Ive been looking into sport sedans lately even including the evo. Its just because I want a 4 door with some power. I need more room in the T/A and that aint happening. Your best bet is too just set up a test drive then compare.

I speak from experience!!!! I had a 05' EVO tuned to 440awhp with 15k in parts sitting in the closet for the 700awhp build. For my own reasons.....namely I got tired of being associated with being a ricer, tired of not being inspired by the looks of the car, or the interior even with a 2k audio system, I sold it and sold the parts!!
I bought a 08' Z06 tuned and bolt ons 484whp and I'll say in just about every facet I like the Z06 better except a few. The EVO is a fun freaking car under 60mph it out handles the Z06 hands down, feels better, feels funner at low speeds, it just does. AWD is a blast and if you haven't been in a 600whp+ EVO on the street go ride in one FAST AS HELL!!! No squishy tires to put on the rear for traction just floor it and your gone.....cheap aftermarket is good too. I say I would love another, but in reality I'm getting snobbier in my old age(34) and if I'm adding I'm adding a GTR not a EVO.
I'd say do it if you don't mind the stereotype!! Driving enjoyment EVO hands down plus the benefit of all weather capability.
