When I first drove my stock TA it felt so slow to my bolt on Z28. Correct me if Im wrong but dont Z28's and standard non WS6 Trans Am's have "softer" springs? I always thought the Z felt faster because the springs were softer so it had the glued to the seat feeling more then the better equipped WS6.

Everything I drive now feels slow and frustrating because I have a cammed WS6 makin 423rwhp lol.

Who asked you about what my ss runs?

I know what my ss runs.... its the z i dont know about

ya know, i never led anyone on to believe i think z's are faster than ss's or vice versa... my question was is his car a lemon or not.... or was it just a tuning issue (all f-bodys im sure dont have identical tunes).... or do i just not remember how a stock f body feels

c'mon guys... i know better than that

I stated from the beginning.... an ls1 is an ls1 is an ls1 is an ls1

NO! I beat a WS6 hahaah. went from a 30 roll. gave the 3 honks n I began to pull instantly on him shifting into second & then into third (but went into fifth) then he went flying by me. I could feel him slowly creeping up though. After the run we were talking & I asked what he had done. OF COURSE! "its stock..." HAHA. yea not a retard. I can tell when a car is stock. & that thing was LOUD and had that certain noise to it.... I would def say he had long tube headers & maybe a cam? but he also said he started in second gear. so hence why I pulled on him. So a Z28 can beat a WS6. hahaha. but stock vs stock SS & Z28 can pull off a win.
DUDE HE WAS KIDDING ABOUT THE T/A - WS6 THING
AND THE Z28 - SS THING I dont think we need examples

The Camaro vs. Mustang races...... It's a Road Racing type of event....

Or the 24 hour LaMans with a C6R!!!!!! THAT my friends is racing....

Road Racing does not = Street Racing

you sure your brother's z28 has 3.23 rear? did you check RPO codes or swap the rear?

also.. headers and a little tweaking with hptuners makes a noticeable difference.
i had to ditch my headers and after i did, driving my car on stock manifolds felt like i lost 40hp.

He could have just put a big red 'R' sticker on his Z28 and got the same results for less money. Just saying.

Are you sure your bro's Z28 has 3.23's? My Z28 had 2.73's and the SS has 3.23's and stock for stock. The SS was faster, mainly due to the SS having better gears, and a better flowing stock exhaust (dual/dual) then what the Z28 had.

If you've never even ran at the track, I would say the more kits you run the less likely you are to win.

On a serious note guys, i have a mulitpul part question.

1. What kind of gains can I expect by putting SS badges on my v6 (l already have the spoiler and hood I hear all 3 work great together)

2. Can my tranny handel it or do the badges help with that aw well ?

3. Will panties drop quicker with SS or Z28 badges ? I saw a decrease in the PD time when I had the Type-R badges vs stock (most important question)

4.I like to think outside the box.Mabe I can get TA WS6 or FH badges any 1 tryed this mod on a marrow yet ?

4.last question I know its off topic but any one know the cons to having my N02 hooked up only to purge, I know with the setup it can't hurt the motor and I don't have to worrie about burning rubber and runing perfectly good tires and it still looks just as cool.

Thx in advance for the input guys <3
