Your way of thinking is flawed, and makes you sound like a fanboi. By your logic, a 1983 Nissan Maxima is really one of the greatest cars around, because you could dare your buddy to give you the same extra 39,000 to mod your car and it would walk all over everything on the street. I personally would never spend 30k on my Camaro.

The 4th gens are not the end all car that some people are making them out to be. They are however, great budget cars that perform very well. But, there are many cars I would much rather have.

B: Ignorant of automotive performance and just started getting interested in cars in the last 6 months.
C: Ricers. Being of the Foreign or Domestic Ricer variety.
D: Part of the local "mid 15 second" club where the meeting spot hero is ***** deep in the 14s.

As far as the new 5.0 vs. ls3 is concerned...I don't care if it makes 100 more hp than the ls3 its how it hooks that really counts

Sorry just thought i would put in my .02 since I am pretty sure that the OP has gotten a pretty good idea that the ls1 hasn't lost any street credit...lol...my heavy into honda friend is starting to see the light and i think in a couple years will have something lsx...he complains all the time about all the parts that are available and how I can make power really easy...blah blah blah...
