Simple question. I'll throw in a few extra answers just to suffice the need for a middle ground. Open to all fbods, vettes, and other cars that have them.


I ask because around my city, most everyone keeps them on. Of course there is the usual people that drive an f-body/corvette with ttops or a targa and don't really know what to do with them, but I see tons of modified cars with them on. I take mine off as long as its somewhat warm and not raining....or if the girlfriend complains that her hair can't be messed up. Until recently when it got pretty cold, mine spent more time in the hatch than on the car.

I take mine out when ever I get a chance. Plus it makes the 10 point stand out more when driving on the street.

I take mine out once in a while on the rare trip that isn't to the drag strip and back. I would prefer not to have them but that was the compromise with the wife in 2002. I get the LS1 and SS package, she gets t-tops.

Back when I had ttops I took em out all the time. I remember leaving school I would do it everyday regardless of the weather.....made ya look cooler. I really wish my t/a wasn't a hardtop.

I take mine off every chance i get. I mean if i'm driving from my house to work, i'm not gonna take em off just to have to put em right back on. But if it's an off day and i'm just cruisin around bullshittin with friends, yea they'll be off. I love it, feels like driving a convertible, definitley adds to the ***** magnet factor.

My son takes them off the car more than I do. I hate the damned heat in texas. They do come off once in a while when it gets cooler here.

Mine come off sometimes on long trips but mainly on weekend nights..... Agree with p*ssy magnet factor

Not very often.

I don't feel comfortable parking with the t-tops off and I usually don't want to take the time putting them back on. If it's a nice day and I'm just going to a friends or just on a joy ride I'll take every chance to rip those suckers off.

glad to see im not the only one who uses them in cold weather. i just turn the heat on my feet when its chilly (50ish degrees) and enjoy fall coming in.

Every chance I get. Last year Buffalo warmed up to about 50ish degree's in the end of october / beginning of november i think and i was cruising around with them off.

My t-tops spoiled me soo damn much, lol. I have vowed to never own another hardtop car unless I also have a t-top, targa or vert car too. I took my t-tops off every chance i got, i did it alot just taking the 15min ride from home to work too. It took me all of 1 minute to take them off and maybe 1-2 minutes to put them back. I cant wait til I get another car with soemthing I can take off, lol.

Also, it definitely attracts girls. I wish I had a fbody in hgih school, lol. The first time I went and pick up my G/F house from her house (like the 3rd time we met before we were dating) I pulled up with the tops off and she was like, wow, I like that. Shes been hooked ever since, lol.
