Thats not a bad idea, never thought of gettin em tinted. I might do that. Theres days I wish I had shades for them but I doubt I will buy a set.

When I got the car it came with the shades but they had never been used. I never used them either, and I ended up selling them.

Mine are in all the time, too much sun here. I can only take the tops off 2-3 months out of the year

I had mine in for the summer. It's about impossible to get the car cool without them in the Texas sun. I'm probably going to take them out for the winter though.

I've never had them on in my car. Actually gave them to my brother and he uses them. For the guys that are tinting your t-tops how are you doing it? Just adding 5% over the stock tint?

I'm pretty sure thats how they did mine. they wouldn't warranty it because they were afraid of the aforementioned cracking myth. I came here and asked and was told they are rated to 4000 degrees. if my t-tops get to 4000 degrees, we're all up **** creek

I agree with the Texas sun being really hot. Without them in the afternoon, you feel the heat from the sun even with the AC on. This winter will be my first owning an F-body, I'll see how I like the winter time without the shades.

Ditto.

my car did not have them when I bought it, I found a set shortly after buying the car, and they were on every day until the car was sold. (I did remove the tops often.

They're in all the time. Velcro'd to the tops themselves

I dont have the shades for mine, so i had a friend that does vinyl lettering cover the insides with matte black vinyl. Blocks all sunlight and makes the ac very frosty

Still have the shades, came with the car. . . . Can't stand them in. I like the permanent skylight.

Might get my T-Tops tinted someday, though.
