C5 sport seats can anyone clarify
Ok my z28 seats are pretty tired and I like the look and feel of c5 sport seats. From what I have read they can and have been adapted to an fbody. However who has actually done it and knows exactly how much fabrication must be done, is it a fairly simple fab job? Also can the electronics b made to work?

This probably won't help much, but I thought about doing those and changed my mind. The Trans Am leather seats bolt right in and work perfectly. Power Lumbar, bolsters and seat. I was very happy with this swap. If you do the C5 seats though I'd love to see the pictures. Good Luck!

I found a cool thread here about it.https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...camaro-pics.html However it says the seat belts cross your neck the reason for the harness. If the height of the roof and the seat will allow it do you think the problem could be corrected by simply raising the seat or are there other factors that go into the seat belt position?

I ran a racing seat before the T/A seats. The factory belt through the harness hole idea worked ok, but it did bother my neck a little bit more than I liked. I've done harnesses on a daily driver too. It is cool at first, but to be honest just annoying putting it on every single day. Unless you are really all about it, it gets old.

Y I'm not too crazy abt the harnesses. By looking at the thread to the top it looks to be that the corvette seats are much lower than the camaro. Meaning if I used some boxed aluminum as spacers do you think that could correct the height nd thus the stock belt position problem.
