Hey, I'm gonna change the oil in my car before putting it away for the winter. Dont want it to sit with old oil, ya know? Figure I'll go start it up once a week or so.
Now I had a few friends suggest Mobil 1 Full Synth, and about the same amount suggest Castrol Synthetic.
I've been hearing though that Castrol is only partially synthetic though, while Mobil is still fully synthetic.
Autozone is running a nice deal on Castrol though lol 5 quarts for 20 bucks. Id like to change the oil before temps hit freezing. :\

Castorl Syntec 0w-30 Made in Germany is what I run and would recommend it greatly. Car used a little oil the first two oil changes and I switched over to this and it completely stopped. Previous owner ran M1 and my first oil change I went with Quaker state full syn then to Syntec. quieted everything down and stopped oil usage.
On a side note. Is it just me or does tech see a lot of oil threads in the winter?
