I bought my 2000 TA in 2007 with 84k miles on it. right now it has 103k. it's been through florida summers and jersey winters. still looks good and performs flawlessly. still counts as low mileage in my heart.

90081 miles. Don't know when my T/A was made, don't care.

Question for the OP: why would you 'mod the hell out of your car and then proceed to never drive it? I mean, I could understand if someone thought that these cars might be worth a gajillion dollars one day, but that would involve keeping it bone stock in addition to not driving it. Not trying to be a *****, just curious...

I bought my trans am in August with the odometer at 53k miles and by November I hit 62k.... so that's like 9,000mi in 3.5 - 4 months...........These cars were made to be driven..... not garage queened.

my previous 02 had a low mileage for the year. 57K miles

Current one has 147K already. Funny thing is, 99 is more of a solid ride than my previous 02...

My girlfriend's neighbor has a 99 NBM Firehawk 6 Speed with 300 miles on it sitting in his garage all covered up and prepped for storage. He said he bought it as an investment, drove it back from the dealer and parked it. I don't really care for the guy, when I shut the door he yelled at me for closing it all the way because he wanted to keep the door seals from crushing. I felt like explaining to him that the door hinges will fail from doing that, but yea that car is pretty nice...

I'm sure he'll really enjoy his Firehawk when he's 85 years old and he can't hear the exhaust burbling anymore.

Dumb ***.

Why not get an ACTUAL investment rather than one that will depreciate for 20 years before it returns back to its original price?

I have 143,5xx as of now, I look forward to that magical 200,xxx marker. You must think of the odometer as a score board, rack up those points fellas.

My old auto tech teacher told me he put 7 miles on his cuda last summer, I told him I am very sorry to hear that.
