I love my fbody, and somebody just put a huge scuff on the front bumper in a parking lot at my university this week. I am PISSED. I highly doubt that I'll ever sell it.

i have had 2 ws6 01' and 99' and the 99' i have had now for 3 years and here to stay. dont get me wrong i sold it feb 09 and bought it back oct 09 after i couldnt live without it anymore. the cts-v could get that itch out. decided to keep it forever.... cam and turn downs wake up the deepest sleepers and prove to pull crowds like cockroachs when lights go off. i love the attention and looks ws6's.
when i see a ws6 goin down the road i spot them from mile away. people move over when i get behind the to watch me go by. they look like they will eat ur lunch even after 12 years! love to have a vette like everyone else but a ta has a look that is ageless and cant buy 1 anymore that is nicer and newer.
to me a ta is priceless not just mine. not a camaro fan. some olders 1's look amazing but ws6 out does a ss all day long here. plus HATE the interior of a camaro. trans am is not outdated looking like the camaro.... hell y else would people put ta seats in there camaro!!! lol

I have to disagree with this. Trans Ams always look more dated than Camaros, specifically because of their wild styling. Not saying this is a bad thing, but more conservatively styled cars never look as dated as the boldest of designs. Again, I do like Trans Ams, but I disagree with your logic.
Vehicle appearance has nothing to do with why some people convert to T/A seats. Some just prefer the support structure of the Pontiac seats. Though I cannot see why, I find the Camaro seats just as comfortable. Plus with the Camaro, you can opt away from the leather (which wears poorly).

I love my car and will not by choice sell or trade it, but everyone has a price. 15k, trade for a c5 or later vette, ctsv, g8, TB SS yes sir! This will never happen though so I see this car being in my garage for a long long time. I told some friends theyll be seeing it at all of our school reunions.

if i didnt lose to much $ on the deal, id trade my 98 T/A for a cheaper, cleaner, lower mileage 01-02 ws6 or even a CETA. Id take any color or trans type, it just NEEDS to have t-tops; you cant find that on any other modern car

Don't plan on selling it. I'd have to find the right buyer that would pay $13k+ to get me to let it go and thats just not going to happen in todays car market. Moving up to a Vette isn't really an option for me since I need a place for a car seat right now, and for the next couple of years.

I wouldn't say it's priceless, everyone has their price. My price just happens to be well above market value. I've had it for 6 years now, and have put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into it. I made this mistake when I sold my 92 Z28 after 5 years, won't do it again.

Not planning on ever selling my 99 SS! I will have owned it 10 years this summer, and plan on keeping and passing it on in the family.
I can understand how some people got into LS1s cheap and don't mind selling, but I bought mine with less than 2000 miles on it, and have invested far too much time and money into to sell it for what it's worth today.
I also don't plan on ever selling my truck unless I am forced to financially. I love all models of GM trucks and F-bodies! I always catch myself trying to get a better look at any F-body in good shape

I have a few pictures on an old floppy, but they don't upload correctly. I will post them up when I get home, but they aren't very good quality. When I first bought it, it was a color called "Wine Fire," which is kind of a deep maroon color with a bit of flake in it. At the time it was totalled I had painted it Midnight Blue, it was debadged on Cragers. It had a worked 390 in it, stalled, geared, LT's, etc. It was my DD for a while, and I had alot of memories with it. Thats the kind of car that is pricelesss/irreplacable to me.
A 4th gen Fbody is not exactly irreplacable in my opinion. I guess alot of you guys who are younger (not that I am old), your 4th gen is your first real car, so I can see how they are "priceless" to you. To me, a 4th gen is a cookie cutter car. When I go to car meets, I see 20-30 of them. They just are not anything special. Don't get me wrong, they are fun cars, but they don't get me all giddy like alot of other cars.
