Here is my LS1 exhaust history:

My '99 Z28: 1 aftermarket system, muffler only. Lasted 1 year.

My '00 WS6: At least 8 different exhaust configurations, including various header/Y-pipe arrangements, and several catbacks. This was over the course of 4+ years.

My '98 Z28: 1 aftermarket system, full catback only. Same one has been on the car for 5 years now.

My '02 Z28: 1 aftermarket system, muffler only. Just installed this last fall.

Had my car for about 2 years. All of these exhausts are with
stock exhaust manifolds & cat converters.

1st Exhaust - Stock
2nd Exhaust - SLP LM2
3rd Exhaust - Magnaflow
4th Exhaust - Corsa
5th Exhaust - GMMG

To me GMMG with cats is the perfect exhaust.
Sounds amazing whether driving normal, aggressively, or commuting.
I'll never change my exhaust again.

Setup 2: qtp lt headers, tsp ypipe, cutout, stock catback
Setup 3: qtp lt headers, tsp true duals
Setup 4: qtp lt headers, tsp ypipe, magnaflow catback

proly stay with the last one for a while, might add an electric cutout down the line just for the sound

I had a Borla catback on my last car and was pretty happy with it. I did it right the first time on this car and went with QTP LT's and TSP TD's. I won't ever change it unless I decide to go with a single turbo in the future.

I've had my '00 'bird just over 10 years:
1)Factory exhaust
2)Factory exhaust with a dynomax muffler
3)Loud Mouth Cat-back
4)Longtube headers with off-road Y & Loud Mouth
5)Longtube headers with off-road Y & Loud Mouth w/ "Dynomouth" mod
6)Longtube headers with TSP Rumbler True Duals w/ Dynomax bullets

'95 Firebird:
1)Factory exhaust
2)Cat-back replaced at least once before I owned it
3)Taiwan longtubes with custom true duals into Summit bullet mufflers

1. Factory Exhaust, on for 8 years and when pulled off, perfect condition!
2. QTP LTs, OTP ORY, Corsa 3.5, on for 2 years because building a motor that needs something bigger.
