oil on spark plugs

Default oil on spark plugs

what does it mean when there is oil on the spark plugs ?????????????

You gots a major leak somewhere. my first guess would be valve seals.

Excessive oil is entering the combustion chamber, either via the valvetrain (valve seals, as mentioned), or past the rings. Rings are more likely, usually valve seals don't leave wet plugs, just enough oil in the combustion chamber to cause some smoking on startup.

Is it one plug, several plugs or all plugs?

Last time I dealt with oil on the spark plugs, it was the valve cover gasket. But then again, that was on a mitsubishi 4 cylinder and the spark plugs go down into the valve cover, completley different from our motors, so IDK why i'm posting this.

I would be more inclined to think rings.

Agreed, rings do sound like a more likely culprit.
