Wondering if I should sell my TA?
#2
It depends what you are gonna buy after you sell it. But in all honesty I think you will regret it. These cars are probably not gonna go up in value in a few years. Or even ever for that matter. There was too many made for them to skyrocket in value like muscle cars of the '60s. If you are not sure wether you should sell it or not, that means part of you still wants to keep it. I say dont sell. Just try something new....like autocross maybe? My uncle does it a lot and its really fun to ride with him. I wanna try it out this summer. Anyways good luck deciding. Just my .02 cents

Worth anything in a couple of years??? NO, absolutely not. If you are talking 15-20 years down the road then YES, especially low mileage, good to excellent condition cars. We are near the bottom and maybe still approaching the bottom of the F-body price curve.

I would say keep it. I know the feeling after a while modding it gets boring but after its gone you miss it. If you have to ask about keeping it i would say you still want to keep it.

Questions like this always come down to personal opinions towards what you want to do with the car, man. What we would do really doesn't matter.
If you bought the car for investment, then you might get a different answer from us than if it was purely for personal immediate enjoyment (aka driving it til the wheels fell off.)
But for what is it worth, to me, I plan on keeping my F body as it is in currently good amazing shape so I dont have an uphill battle towards keeping up on it, even though I drive it a lot. It is also the only car that has been recently built that is catered towards my needs. It's simple to mod and a basic, yet amazing platform. Other cars either add too much BS that I do not want, or they have what I generally want yet are pieces of junk, etc etc.
There really isn't any other car like it to me and it happens to be the type of car I desire, and since they are getting more rare these days in nice condition (since they are obviously not made anymore) I plan on keeping it.
But why would you?

In all honesty you 'll miss it once its gone.
Your car seems like it has some nice power to cruise/auto cross/drag with.
Performance mods are expensive than appearance mods, Look into the appearance section here on 'tech. Sponsors like 6LE, Yo Fab, make some great products that really change the dull interior of fbodies compared to today's cars, exterior products as well.
If anything, maybe you just need a break from the hobby. I 'd suggest keeping the car but taking a break from mods and doing something else. and then see how you feel about it.

I'm thinking the same thing but I dont wanna regret it later on down the road, I would like an si"gasp"but then again I know I'll kick myself for getting rid of my t/a. The main reason I'd like an si is gas mileage and sportyness and plus my gas mileage sucks I'm only getting about 212 miles to a tank.

Im planning on putting Pontiac Bonneville seats in my car. I do a lot of highway driving and theres not many seats out there that can beat the comfort, plus they bolt right up to the existing mounts! But im guessing you want something more performance oriented?
