I shifted at 7k with stock bottom end including rod bolts almost daily for 3 years. My new cam will be shifted at 7200 this year. Joe Honeycutt who was top 3 for cam-only cars went low 10's shifting at 8100 with stock bottom end including rod bolts for a full season. They never let go.

Yes. You will have to put the car on a lift and drop the kmember to remove the oil pan. And you do them 1 at a time. Search function would help you out.

A stock ls1 shouldnt be reving much over the 6100 redline imo. I could be wrong but I believe fuel cuts off at 6200.

So many of us don't have stock tuning.

Default Trying to decide

Looking to buy a car and i was wondering the big difference between a 2002 WS6 Trans Am, 2002 Camaro SS, 2002 Camaro Z28. All stock just looking for general information anything would help. Also the best upgrades for results.

They are all basicly the same. The ram air is non-functional and for appearance only so don't worry about that. Best upgrades to start with would be longtubes and exhaust, a lid, and gears for an M6, stall for an A4.

either one. Neither one is going to give you an advantage... ram air is the biggest load of crap. Its not going to do anything till about 120, then it gives you maybe 2 hp.

Exactly, the air boxes are not sealed like they were on the LT cars.

and you can take a regular Z/28 or non ws6 TA and do the free ram air (FRA) mod and get the exact same results.

however, I still don't believe the .1-.2 that could just be a change in track prep or DA. You aren't going to go fast enough to create a large enough positive pressure to increase horsepower substantially.
