Pros and Cons of LTX to LSX swap
I'd like to hear some pros and cons of doing this swap. A bit about what i have. I have a 95 Formula with close to 200xxx miles. The body is pretty straight and no rust. I want to build a "moderatly wild" street car. Maybe mid 10's in the 1/4. I also have a bare 6.0 iron block waiting for a home. I'm planning on keeping the full interior but getting rid of weight were it can't be seen. I'm planning on a tubular k-member already so motor mount wise I don't see a problem. Opinions?

If you have the skills and time I say go for it. Especially if you don't need to drive it everyday.
I really really really like the LS1 in comparison to the LT1. The LS1's are easier to work on (remembering the days of messing with plug wires on a lt1) and the power curve is a lot smoother.

I'm certain it's been done before. You should look through the Conversions and Hybrids section for a topic on someone else's LT1 to LSx build.

There wont be a huge resale value on it... But if you just want to keep it for a long time and not worry about that, it would be worth it.
Check out the conversions section of the site. You'll find a ton of good info there.
