Dual Dual has a crossflow muffler and was installed on 2000(?)-2002 Firehawks. It was also an option for the Camaro SS of the same years. It could also be purchased as an aftermarket catback for a short time.
The LM2 Catback consists of a resonator (bullet style muffler) in the 3" I-pipe and then splits into 2 1/2" dual exhaust with either 3" single tips or dual dual tips.
Not trying to be a smart ***. Just trying to disspell any misinformation.

SLP's Dual Dual Catback is not the same as their LM2.

Hey I had the same prob I ran a pair of Borla stingers ( resinator bullet) mufflers basically lowered my car a few db's 4 cops but if u let the pipes get to full heated temp it has a nice track aggessive sound... Ur car will sound like the cameros n mustangs on the Rolex 24 hr cars they run these kind too I drive to Daytona to see um I live close to there but cats suck but it's ur car.. Hi flows if u go the cats way but I'm telling u as a person that has listened to Many an LS1 and in a group called FuelSlut go with the bullets of ur brand or leave it just becareful around cops...LTR
ps it's an LS1 either way u can't go wrong, it will sound great just 1 other advice LT headers has to either go on it or be on now shorties r a waste of $$

I still have no idea what exhaust I'm running since it came with the car, but from what I've heard it looks like a Dynomax catback with a resonator in it. No LT's or ORY yet. For me, it's WAY too quiet. But I'm the kind of guy that doesn't mind a little rasp or setting off car alarms when I roll by... so, take my opinion with a grain of salt.
