Ummmm I'm really not sure, but I don't think so. My stock WS6 has total 4x4 status. It is probably just the 17" wheels that make them look different.

Yeah the front end of mine is pretty high.. My SS though has like a 3 inch lift. Might as well buy some super swampers for it and go hit the trails with my buddies.

No difference in the springs. Same as all the others. Mine had a 4 inch lift kit on before my BMR 1.25's were put on.

There really isn't much "suspension upgrade" to the WS6 package. Only thing was a 32mm front sway bar with stiffer bushings (to replace the 30mm base V8 bar). Otherwise, the only thing about a WS6 that improves handling over a base V8 is the 17x9 wheels and 275/40 tires.

`96 through early `00 WS6's came with the slightly stiffer 1LE springs but there is still no change in ride height.

Ride height will vary some from car to car. My '98 sits 3/4" lower than my '02. Both have stock springs.

they also have bilstein shocks from the factory(vs. decarbon shocks) , 1LE suspension as mentioned, with bigger sway bars.

This is not correct. The '98+ WS6 cars did not come stock with Bilsteins (they have Decarbon shocks just like the base V8 F-bodies).

Also, they do not come with a full 1LE suspension. Some of the eariler cars ('98-early '00, as mentioned) did get 1LE springs, and all of them ('98-'02) received the 1LE front sway bar with bushings. But that was it, no rear 1LE bar nor any other 1LE bushings or mounts.

The only LS1 F-bodies to ever come with Bilsteins were SS/Firehawks that were ordered from SLP with the specific SLP-valved Bilsteins.

You know....it makes you wonder why the hell they even marketed/advertised the WS6 package as a performance AND handling package when it barely has two 1LE options on the whole car as far as suspension is concerned. But I guess it's nice to know that my 99 has them (I hope)
