Default What is needed to lift the front end?

I was thinking h/c/i skinnies up front, sticky tires out back, launch at 4k. Think that would be enough? What suspension mods are needed for this besides power and traction?

If all you are wanting to do is lift the tires then you can do it with your current mods. I would start with Double Adjustable shocks on all 4 corners. Also try to get some weight off the frontend, sway bar and mounts, maybe AC, bumper support, lighter battery or relocate kit etc..

Remove the front swaybar & endlinks, and figure out how to cut a 1.6 60'. Buy some good tires like MT ET Streets. That should be enough to lift one of the tires on launch. With your mods you can run a lot faster than a 12.9.

Haha this reminds me of my friend who bought an 01 Z28 and his mod plan is to "keep modding till it wheelies"

Good luck on attaining your goal.

If you want to lift the front tires I would focus on the suspension setup. You mods seem like more than enough to lift the tires its just a matter of hooking and putting it to the ground without spinning.

Yea I haven't run the car on sticky tires yet, just street tires and it just spins like usual. That was basically my idea haah "mod the car till it lifts the front end"

^ yea, key there is you have DR's and skinnies in the front. You can have 2000 HP but if you have crappy street tires your not going to lift anything

My 250lb friend was able to pull one tire with stock wheels and stock suspension. What he did was remove the front swaybar, use 16x8 stock wheels with street tires on the front, 16x8 wheels with MT ET Streets on the back, and got good at launching his car... Milled 241s, 228R-like cam, lid/exhaust, stalled auto, 3.42s, hardtop. Best 1/8th mile on that setup was 7.4 with 1.6 60's
