Default The G-ride hit 200,000 miles today

I've put 172k miles on this thing since I bought it used 7 years ago. No major problems except for when the 4L60E lost 3 and 4 at 173k last year. Anybody have an LS1 that's been flogged as much as this one has? Mine is an '02 so a lot of the LS1s on here are up to five years older; I figure a few of them must have some miles racked up on 'em.

I am sure it will. I bought my LT1 at 100k and I mod it and drove it like hell. At 120k i started spraying n2o for the next 20k miles. I sold the car at 140k, and it was still running strong.

218,000 here, maintenance has been kept up well but I dont think it was driven too hard until I got it and it runs perfect except a little smoke over 5K rpm.

Mine rolled over to 100k a couple months ago, and I hated that day. Seeing 6 digits on the ODO! It's good to see a bunch of higher mileage cars still going strong though

137K, the rack is leaking and the pan is damp. Did the clutch last spring, and currently doing the A/C. Fuel and brake lines are getting crusty but she runs like she's stolen!

I'm dumping money into the car here and there to keep it going, like for the AC system and the fuel pump that went out last week (that cost me a total of $385 and I still need to get the Racetronix hotwire harness for it). I will probably have to replace the water pump, oil pump, and the alternator again soon.

My steering rack has been leaking for over 100k miles; I just keep the fluid full and stuff shop towels between the rack and k-member to keep fluid from getting on the ground. I have another rack that I bought a long time ago, it's just a matter of putting it in.
The A/C went out two years ago and I've stupidly kept putting in used compressors that keep turning out to have leaks. Oh well, just gotta keep charging it every month or so.
And of course there is a lot of long overdue suspension work to be done.

That's awesome I hope my g8 lasts that long.

My foxbody fell apart after 120k. I'm still replacing stuff on it.

Mine has 125,xxx on it. Runs like a champ. Bought it two years ago with around 110,000 miles from the original owner, an older lady. Haha. At 115,000 I started to add some stuff, before that it was stock. Going to start spraying it soon!

Jeez... you guys make mine seem young. I'm sure there's others on here that are MUCH lower, but I'm at 74k (bought it with 69k) and it's a 2000. Bought it at the end of October of 09. Coming from a 1990 Honda accord 4 banger to this beast is just frightening. I just hope mine lasts as long as your alls. I'm trying to keep maintenance up on it as much as possible, just seems like every time I fix something another thing goes wrong.
